Capabilities
A generative diffusion framework for protein, DNA, RNA and mixed assemblies; accepts polymer-chain and motif constraints and returns candidate 3D structures. Official setup includes an Apptainer image and models obtained from IPD.
When to use it
Apply to multi-polymer RNA/DNA/protein generation; plan approximately 16 GB GPU VRAM per published installation advice and review PyRosetta licensing first.
Compute
Compute classification: heavy-gpu. This is a planning estimate, not a throughput benchmark; check the linked model installation documents for exact requirements.
Commercial licensing
Commercial permission — Restricted
The repository's BSD LICENSE.md explicitly covers its code and referenced checkpoints. However official installation describes PyRosetta as a dependency, and commercial use of PyRosetta has separate licensing terms. Do not infer a turnkey commercially free workflow from the core BSD license.
License fee — Paid license/dependency
No fee for core BSD RFDpoly code/weights, but the documented PyRosetta dependency can require a paid commercial license. Actual cost depends on the licensed installation; inquire with Rosetta/UW.
Free downloads do not necessarily permit company use. Code, checkpoints, external dependencies and compute expenses require separate review.
